Park Updates > Kings Island: 04.27.08 - Park Update Click on any photo to enlarge and see its description. Kings Island opened for the season but something is oddly different about the park. Back around the area next to the Beast and The Crypt, a large amount of land clearing has been done. What used to be a pond is now a dirt field, filled with concrete footers. It's only the end of April and a large amount of construction has already been done. Concrete footers scatter the area for what is assumed to be a 2009 addition. Guest paths were re-routed in order to accomodate the construction yard.
