| First up, we proceeded to Hex, where we walked around the outside of the Towers until we came across the main ride building. We then walked into the operators cabin. |
| This was the site that greeted us as soon as we entered the room; it was rather cramped with us all in such a small area. |
| We were then treated to a demonstration of how the entire ride is operated and monitored. This is the control panel for the final and main section of Hex. |
| This is the view the operator has outside of the control room. As you can see the drum revolves to create the illusion that the riders are being inverted. You might notice the friction wheels in the distance, these are what rotate the outside drum. |
| We then proceeded into the vault. This is what you just saw from the outside in the previous photo. |
| The level of detail and theming inside the vault is of quite a high standard. You can get a rough idea of how the ride works in this photo-the seats are located in the middle and move slightly to give the sensation of movement, but the walls around the seating area revolve to make the riders believe they are moving further than they think. |
