#5: Walt Disney World Resort | Orlando, FL
The name “world” is put into good use at this park. Walt Disney World was the park that was supposed to change family amusement, and well, it did its job pretty darn good. This is home to Walt Disney's last personal projects before he died. He dreamed of more of a resort type park. Where families could stay and spend time doing multiple things without the rush of city atmosphere to get in the way. It was built in an area of its own. Nothing but beautiful Florida landscape, you wouldn't find any Harbor Blvd. to ruin the atmosphere of being in another world.

Walt Disney World has developed to become the highest attended park in the world. Along with the original park, three other theme parks spawned off of the original park, making it one of the largest family destinations in the world. Walt Disney World consists of the original Walt Disney World park, Epcot Center, Animal Kingdom, and the Disney-MGM Studios. But thats not the only thing this massive resort has to offer. It also has the world famous Disney Cruise which takes you up to a week long cruise hitting various Caribbean islands and finishing off at the park. Walt Disney World definetly needs to be on the list of top ten amusement parks in the world.

#4: Six Flags Magic Mountain | Valencia, CA

The “Xtreme” Park. Magic Mountain is the world record holder along with Cedar Point with the most roller coasters at one park with an astonishing sixteen different roller coasters. This park is all about innovation and thrills. We've all seen National Lampoons Vacation and remember that silly fake background of the park with giant rides that sempt impossible to be real. Little did they know that that park infact would have a similar skyline as that fantasy background shown in the movie. The park was home to the first “successful” looping roller coaster in the world and home to many other record breakers in the past including; Collossus, Viper, Riddlers Revenge, Goliath, Deja Vu, and the world famous X. If your looking for thrills then Magic Mountain is the place that you have been waiting to go.

#3: Cedar Point | Sandusky, OH
We all know that Cedar Point deserves to be in any list of top ten parks and to many it is the best park in the world. But we didn't see it that way this time. There are still two more parks that we think deserve to be the best parks. Cedar Point is an enormous park located on a peninsula on Lake Erie. This park is home to several of the worlds best coasters and its also the only park with a coaster in the 200ft. 300ft. and 400ft. categories in terms of height.

Cedar Point shares the title of the park with the most coasters with our number four best park Six Flags Magic Mountain with sixteen different coasters. The only thing that separates Cedar Point and Magic Mountain is the environment. The environment here is much better then Magic Mountain. Cedar Point puts a little more effort in terms of guest services with their better staff, cleanliness, and overall appeal.
This is the destination for thrill seekers looking for that thrilling ride and rarely will disappoint.

#2: Universal's Islands of Adventure
Truly in a category of its own. We've all seen it showcased on the Discovery Channel on numerous different shows and even its own hour-long episode. Islands of Adventure is a massive park consisting of five massive areas. The five areas include, Marvel Super Hero Island, Seus Landing, The Lost Continent, Jurassic Park, and Toon Lagoon each consisting an assortment of attractions capable of pleasing anyone. In these areas you will find something that is completely unique to any other park in the world. First in Marvel Super Hero Island you will find many amazing rides including The Incredible Hulk and The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman. I would like to take some time and talk about The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman. This is a truly innovative ride like no other in the world. Its a total interactive experience putting you into the role of the super hero. This high tech, hish adrenalin ride embarks the future of theme parks with its innovative theming and storyline.

Along with Marvel Super Hero Island there are still 4 more lands to travel. Each respectively capable of pleasing anyone from small children to thrill seeking teens and adults. One other premier attraction are the Dueling Dragons. This is another top ten invert that provides a thrill like no other. It is the only Dueling invert on the planet offering near collisions within a foot of each train providing an off-ride spectacle of enjoyment. You will find a lot of off-ride amusement at this park, walking around and watching all of the different interactions this park has to offer.Universal Islands of Adventure, our pick for number one amusement park in America.

#1: Tokyo Disneyland Resort
Thats right, the best amusement park is located all the way in Tokyo Japan. This is by far the most unique, beautiful, amazing park in the world. If you don't know much about it, its ok because well...its a long ways from America. Near or far, this park definetly deserves to be the number one park in the world. One look at it and you will realize why this differs from any other park in America. Tokyo Disney Resort offers to major parks, the awesome Disney Sea, and Tokyo Disneyland Park. Both offer two totally different experiences. Tokyo Disneyland Park offers many of the same attractions of offered in the other Disneyland parks. This one infact was the first Disney park outside of the United States and continues to grow and expand like the others across the globe. It has the same Disney appeal to it as any other Disneyland but something no other Disneyland has, Disney Sea as their neighboring park.

This is what separates Tokyo Disney Resort from any other park in the world. This park is outstanding, the theming is extraordinary. The atmosphere and attention to detail is like no other in the world. It contains seven themed areas ranging from an American Waterfront to an Arabian Coast. It is also home to an astounding attraction, Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull. This ride is huge, very similar to the one located in Disneyland California, but this one is much more detailed inside and out. On the outside, it is themed to a great jungle, with a massive a temple housing the interior of the ride. In the inside, you are on a journey to seek the fountain of youth, but on the way you encounter its protector, the evil Crystal Skull.

Through out the park you will notice many different themes striking the imagination of each of its guests who pass through the gates. The theme that is used primarily is that of a water based theme. You will see this theme used in all of its areas. This simple yet effective theme transforms this park to the most beautiful of all parks and feeds the park goers experience. The park isn't cluttered with dozens of different rides to take up space, but it contains a few rides that take up a lot of space using the advantageous surroundings to the water. Everything at this park is top quality and can please anyone looking for real adventure.
