#10: Thunder Dolphin | LaQua | Japan
Our number 10 Intamin coaster was quite possibly one of the hardest coasters to design and build. Ever. Thunder Dolphin, located in downtown Tokyo, lifts riders 262 feet above the streets below, drops them 218 feet, and pulls them up onto the top of a building! Trick track, an overbank turn through a hubless Ferris wheel, an airtime hill, and another trip across the top of building ensue. The unique layout and interactions of this coaster make it our number 10 coaster.

#9: Superman: Ride of Steel | Six Flags Darien Lake & Six Flags America | USA
Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags America is a mirrored clone of the one at Six Flags Darien Lake, so we decided to go ahead and group them together. Both deliver amazing rides on their two giant airtime hills and multiple bunny hops. The ride starts out by dropping over 200 feet and making a large sweeping turn. Riders are then thrust up and out of their seat over one large airtime hill, turn around in one of the biggest helixes ever constructed, and return back over another airtime hill. Many enthusiasts agree worldwide that Superman at both parks delivers some of the best and most extreme airtime of any coaster. The delivery of airtime is what places it as our number 9 Intamin coaster.

#8: Top Thrill Dragster | Cedar Point | USA
2003 marked the beginning of a new era: the 400+ foot era. Cedar Point debuted Top Thrill Dragster, which launches riders from 0-120 mph in 4 seconds, yanks them over a 420-foot top hat, and returns them to the ground. The whole ride lasts 17 seconds but many agree that it is some of the most intense 17 seconds in all of coastering. Although the coaster had some trouble operating in the first season, it has since improved and runs daily with little to no breakdowns. Top Thrill Dragster also sports trains that look like Top Fuel Dragsters and has sound effects as the trains launch. It is a must for any guest to Cedar Point and a must for any coaster enthusiast.

#7: Goliath | Six Flags Holland | Holland
Goliath is our second international Intamin pick. Goliath operates at Walibi World, the old Six Flags Holland. The maximum height of 153 feet doesn’t make this coaster the tallest, but it is definitely one of the best. The ride integrates land and lake, airtime hills, carrousel curves, a stengel dive, and helixes all into one coaster. Airtime (in traditional Intamin fashion) takes place 7 times on this coaster and there are 4 moments of exceptionally high positive g forces. The mix of airtime, new elements, and sweeping turns make this our number 7 coaster and our first European pick.

#6: Colossos | Heide Park | Germany
Colossos is our second European pick for this top 10. It debuted in 2001 as the first Intamin wooden coaster with special prefabricated track. This new system of developing and building wood coasters put Intamin into the wood coaster market. The new track type allows for steel coaster like smoothness and all sorts of curves that were previously not featured on wooden coasters. Colossos provides its riders with traditional wooden features like 7 airtime hills and combines it with the smoothness of a steel coaster. This innovative combination puts Colossos in our number 6 spot.
