Sea World California- 11/17/03: Journey to Atlantis Construction

An overview of Journey to Atlantis as it quickly starts to really become a prominent site of the park.

The ride will not be a clone of Sea World Orlando's attraction. It features a much larger indoor building, and one extra drop (highly banked curve of turquoise track).

This is the main touchdown drop of the ride, where the boats drop out of the building and into the lake that will soon be put in. The boats will splash down, then turn and re-enter the building.

The ride from the east parking lot. Although the ride's buildings are not even near completion, the ride looks like 3 tall silos so far, without any extensive architecture around the remaining site.

A shot of the curved drop and the brake run. The white tower with the gold roof will probably serve as the maintenance stairway for mechanics.
