More than a month after opening for the 2009 season, Ghost Town in the Sky's Cliffhanger coaster has been deemed ready to roll. The mountaintop Old West-themed park opened May 22 without its centerpiece ride, but the N.C. Department of Labor's Elevator and Amusement Devise Bureau Chief Jonathon Brooks and Tommy Petty, also with the bureau, have been at the park since Monday going through the final commissioning process. They gave the ride the thumbs up this afternoon.
