It was originally all just picnic grounds, until in 1933, for our 25th anniversary a carousel was built. That carousel still stands today as Tiovivo. Then for the park's 30th anniversary in 1938, the Creighton Cafeteria was built, which stands today under the same name.. Then 19 years later, Don tragically died. So we, in 1957 bought the picnic grounds to make an amusement park in Don's memory. The first thing we did was build Don's Diner to always remember how this park began, and the wonderful man behind it. Then, we named the park Creighton Canyon after him. From then on we built rides and expanded throughout the years. Some rides even incorporated the wall of the canyon, such as the thrilling Canyon Blaster, and the family friendly Rock Slide. But now, for 2007, our 50th year of running the park, we did something completely different. We, would like to introduce to you the new Creighton Canyon. Split into 6 themed sections, the park will add a new sense of adventure. Those sections being Port Mediterrania, the new Camp Kids, Conquistador Square, Adventurer's Corner, Canyon Plaza, and Upper Plaza. So come out, and enjoy the now 50 year old Creighton Canyon. From our pint sized thrills in Camp Kids to our world class thrills in Conquistador, we have something for everyone.
