Sea World Orlando was originally opened by Busch Parks as an aquatic zoo for families to visit from all over the world. In recent years, however, the park was threatened with high competition of other Orlando parks such as Universal Studios and Walt Disney World because they were opening new thrill rides and attractions each year. Busch decided Sea World couldn't be left behind, so they opened Journey to Atlantis, a water coaster; and Kraken, a high-speed 7-inversion floorless coaster.
