Six Flags Great Adventure opened by Warner
Leroy in 1974, where it remained a fairly small unknown park for
about 3 years. In 1977, the park was bought by Six Flags and over
the years the park installed newer coasters, bringing it to its
current state of 12 total. Rides include Medusa, the world's first
Floorless coaster, Batman & Robin: The Chiller- a unique primier
dual-launched coaster, and Superman: Ultimate Flight, B&M's
2nd clone of this type.
