In 1902, just a few years before parks like
Hershey Park
were opening to public, Canobie Lake Park opened with a small array
of attractions. It started as a small park in the town of Salem,
New Hampshire, famous for its flower gardens. Over the years, they
added the Yankee Canonball, and various other thrill rides to entertain
locals. The park now spans nearly 25 acres across the land and features
over 35 rides for the whole family!
