Behemoth
Canada's biggest roller coaster is here

(Vaughan, Ontario) – Come May 4th, what does the sudden shrieking of screams and yells mean? Canada’s largest, tallest, and fastest roller coaster is now open!

Behemoth is one monster. At over 5,300 feet (1,616m) in length, Behemoth prepares its thrill seekers with a climb to a staggering height of 230 feet (70.1m). After a terrifying 75 degree drop, with speeds reaching 78 miles per hour (125 kph) in 3.9 seconds, the attraction sends riders down a total of eight extreme drops, a “hammerhead” element, and two helixes-one of which is a 540-degree downward spiral. New to the industry, Behemoth features prototype open-air seating that enables riders to experience an unobstructed view.

"For the Twelve times I went on it, it never got old. I laughed on every ride," said Adam Colvin.

The attraction, built by Bolliger & Mabillard of Monthey, Switzerland, cost approximately $26 million dollars to build, making it the largest investment in Canada’s Wonderland’s history. Canada’s Wonderland features more than 200 shows and attractions, with Behemoth becoming the park’s 15th roller coaster in their lineup. The park is owned and operated by the Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. General admission tickets start at $41.34 adults, $29.35 juniors.
