If you are interested in a position, please email Steve Kalkofen at steve[at]rollercoasterpro.com to inquire about a position.  Graphics Designer Duties: Work collaboratively with fellow staff to improve and develop a new interface for our visitors. Ideal candidates will have: * Strong GUI design and problem solving skills * Above-average familiarity with web standards (XHTML, CSS, WCAG) and the impact they have on design * Experience designing highly transactional sites * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently * Experience skinning vBulletin forum software as well as various CMS systems (not required) Required Qualifications: * Creativity and enthusiasm * Proficiency in Photoshop * Flexibility - Being able to creatively design projects with little to no input. * Quick turn-around - Being able to complete projects within a reasonable time period * Portfolio of completed projects ranging from web icons to logo design to website design. Pay Allowance: Negotiable  Web Programmer Duties: Development of dynamic Web backend systems, content management systems and file uploading systems. Assume direct responsibility for existing / new PHP Web development projects. Plan, build and implement web applications within strict guidelines. Implement and adhere to policies, procedures and standards for development. Required Qualifications: * Creativity and enthusiasm * PHP, HTML, PostgreSQL, MySQL, vBulletin Forum Systems, and various CMS (Content Management System) knowledge * Reasonable turn-around - Being able to complete projects within a reasonable time period * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently * Portfolio of completed projects * Experience in maintaining and documenting code. Pay Allowance: Negotiable  Public/Media Relations Representative Duties: Communicate with media agencies, amusement industry agencies, as well as the general public on behalf of RollerCoasterPro.com. Duties may include responding to interview requests, affiliation requests, as well as working closely with industry agencies for upcoming events, features, construction coverage, or interviews. Events and opportunities vary, however this is your chance to develop a close relationship with a variety of amusement industry professionals, make some close friends, and become a part of the RCPro Team. Required Qualifications: * Must 18 years of age or older * Must actively contribute to the RCPro Team as well as in the RCPro Community * Professional conduct while contacting or attending parks/events on behalf of RCPro * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with others * Must have prior experience in public/media relations. References may be required upon request. * Be fluent in the English language (multiple language fluency is a plus, however not required) Pay Allowance: N/A  Marketing Liaison Duties: RCPro Marketing Liaisons are responsible for designing and promoting marketing campaigns to increase market awareness of RollerCoasterPro.com and it's services and features. From ad campaigns to contest/promotions management, opportunities are limited only by your imagination. Required Qualifications: * Able to creatively design and promote campaigns for RCPro services and features * Must actively contribute to the RCPro Team as well as in the RCPro Community * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with others * Be fluent in the English language (multiple language fluency is a plus, however not required) Pay Allowance: N/A  Regional Representatives Duties: As a representative for RCPro, your duties include visiting theme parks and attractions, expanding RCPro’s Gallery and Video library, as well as attending Media Exclusive events throughout the year. With these you may also be required to write a supporting article to accompany your media. With this position you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and interview some of the industry’s leading experts as well as other benefits only available to the media. Required Qualifications: * Must 16 years of age or older * Must actively contribute to the RCPro Team as well as in the RCPro Community * Must be able to visit multiple parks throughout the season * Professional conduct while attending parks/events on behalf of RCPro * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with others * Be fluent in the English language (multiple language fluency is a plus, however not required) * High-quality camera and/or video equipment with basic knowledge on photography and/or videography skills Pay Allowance: Partial/Full Reimbursement for qualifying Official Trips/Purchases
